Swimming is a great way for your dog to exercise and have fun. We offer a clean, safe and modern alternative to taking your dog down to the beach. We are open all year round so you can treat your dog to a fun swim session no matter what season it is.

Doggy Day Care

Our Doggy Day Care is the perfect option for anyone that is looking for a consistent, professional day care service for their dogs. We have a clean, modern facility with trained staff members that will ensure your dog stays safe and happy during their stay.

Welcome to Dog Swim Vancouver!

The idea for our business model came in the Summer of 2018 when we were out walking our 9 year old chocolate lab – JJ. It was a hot day and the beaches were closed because of E Coli. All I wanted to do was to provide some relief from the heat for her! JJ has arthritis in her hip and like most labs, running is her favorite thing but causes the most pain. I believe that non weight bearing exercise can be the best cross training and pain reliever that we can give her. It was breaking our heart to see our pup limp so we opened Dog Swim Vancouver for young and old pups whose parents want the best for their dog, like we want for JJ. I have extensive training with dogs – including a certification in  positive reinforcement dog training. I was trained by Amber Cottle who is a well known dog trainer in Delta.  Come join us for a drop in swim, a swim lesson or a day at our fun daycare!

I have been here once and I love it. It's a great place to exercise your fur baby and also keeping yourself Warm without having to stand outside at the beach in the cold winter weather. My girl loves swimming and this will be my go-to for the next few months. Great idea!

I can't say enough great things about Ed and the staff at Dog Swim Vancouver. Our rambunctious dog, Indie, has been going for day care regularly for the last several months. Every morning he pulls me the whole way there once we get to the final block and is thoroughly exhausted at the end of the day. Suffice to say he loves it and we love it too. Unlike other dog day cares, our pup comes home smelling fresh and clean from the pool. This is a newer business there have been a few hiccups along the way (who knew our dog could jump a 5 ft fence!) but Ed worked with us to ensure any issues were resolved to our satisfaction. 5+ stars for Ed and his team.

This place is heavensent! Ed is an amazing swim coach, very patient, gentle and caring. I have always wanted to find a place like this and I'm so happy they are here! Our senior dog loves Ed and has easily gotten over his apprehension of the water. Can't say enough great things about this place!!!
Great place, super clean, friendly (for both dogs and their humans), and your dog comes home tired. We've taken our dog mostly for public swim and while it took a little time for him to understand how to get in he had a blast since. Staff is really helpful and quick to always assist. Keep up the great work!
We've brought our pup to Dog Swim several times now, and of all of the doggy day cares we have tried, we cannot be anymore happy with Dog Swim. Our dog is always very excited to go in, and when she comes home, she is passed out! She comes out of day care not dirty, and not stinky, which we found with all other day cares she smells nasty, and always super filthy. We also love that the dogs get proper long walks around the neighborhood if they choose not to swim like ours. We'll continue to bring our dog here so as long as they are around!
