Daycare FAQ
Q: Do you take all breeds and sizes?
A: YES! We have to meet your dog and see if they are a fit. We encourage all of our dogs to be social and playful.
Q: What is included in the daycare?
A: Daycare includes one 45 minute swim per day and several twenty minute walks/bathroom breaks.
Q: How does the staff interact with the dogs?
A: Our staff all have training with dogs. Ed Light, the owner, is a certified dog trainer, specialized in positive reinforcement. Ed will train all of his staff to interact with the dogs in the form of positive reinforcement.
Q: Do I need to vaccinate & spayed/neutered my dog?
A: YES! -Written proof of current vaccinations is required for Rabies, Bordetella & DHPP
Dogs older than six months must be spayed or neutered as well.
Dog must be on some form of flea prevention
Q: Why do you require Bordetella?
A: Bordetella bronchiseptica is the most common strain of kennel cough. Kennel cough is one of the most common illnesses in dogs. It is most commonly spread through public dog spaces as it is highly contagious. While Kennel cough itself is not fatal, it can lead to fatal infections in puppies and in senior or immunocompromised dogs.
Q: Do you have parking?
A: For daycare, you can park for drop off/pick up in the back alley – parallel to Granville between 6th and 7th. Daycare dogs are dropped off thru this back entrance. Front entrance is for the pool only.
